We are pleased to invite all Neighbourhood Watch members in the Cambridgeshire Police Force Area to attend the Annual General Meeting and Conference for the Cambridgeshire Neighbourhood Watch Association which will be held on Saturday 5th October 2024 at 10:00 a.m.  The conference will be held at the Cambridgeshire Police Headquarters, Hinchingbrooke Business Park, Brampton Rd, Huntingdon PE29 6NP.

Conference presentations from:

Cadet Aaron Forsey – An introduction to Volunteer Police Cadets

Sergeant Amanda Rossiter and PC Jodie Skells from the Neighbourhood Support Team are providing a presentation to raise awareness about Rogue Trading showing the common methods used by offenders, how to spot if a company is genuine/legitimate, the preventative measures that can be taken, and reporting incidents to the police.

Sergeant Mark Rabel, the Positive Action Sergeant, is providing an insight into how machine learning and artificial Intelligence can help to prevent fraud.

Keynote presentation:

Darryl Preston, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Mr Preston will highlight the importance of police and communities working together and talk about his Police and Crime plan.
