After Melissa made landfall across Jamaica as a category 5 hurricane, the strongest in the islands recorded history, the now category 3 hurricane is crossing Cuba and has parts of the Bahamas to cross later. Eventually the extropical remnants look to reach the NE Atlantic and affect the UK and Ireland early next week.
